Important notes to the authors:

• Deadline for papers submission is 30 April 2004. See instructions to Authors.

• All papers must be prepared in acordance with the "Instructions for Authors" provided by the Publisher. Particular care is necessary with regard to the quality of figures and illustrations and the completenes of references and an abstract must be provided. The size of lettering on figures must be appropriate for the reduction necessary for the printed pages and the lettering and symbols must be consistent with the text. SI units must be used throughout the paper
• Authors of contributed papers must limit the size of the paper to 3200 words or equivalently to a maximum of 4 printed pages
• Authors of invited papers must limit the size of the paper to 4800 words or equivalently to a maximum of 6 printed pages 
• All submitted papers will be reviewed by nominated guest scientific editors

Any ammendments or corrections required by the guest editors must be incorporated by the authors. Failure of this obligation will disqualify the corresponding paper for publication.
