Important:
the
dimensions of your poster should not exceed 120 cm
(height) x 90 cm (width)
The
ICRS-10/RPS
2004 Scientific and Organizing Committees believe
that posters do not penalise authors. On the contrary, the
organization of poster sessions can contribute to foster and enhance
interaction between the authors and the
participants.
The
ICRS-10 & RPS-2004 Organising committee has therefore decided to
organize:
- Three
sessions of poster presentations during Monday, 10 May, Tuesday, 11 May
and Thursday, 14 May from 14:00 to 18:20
- A fourth poster session on
Wednesday, 12th May, starting at 10:20 a.m. through 3:45 p.m.
Please check the Conference
Programme
in order to ascertain the schedule for the display of your poster.
Poster sessions will take place in the
hall in front of the Niemeyer room, at the hotel.
Boards will be provided for display of your poster. The place
for your display will be clearly identified and
some help and the required material will be available as required.
The
Conference
Organization will provide:
- Display
boards 2.40 x 1.50 m for use with velcro or push pins each holding
posters
up to the size of A0 format (841 X 1188 mm).
- Marking
pens,
push pins, scissors, velcro ribbons and "sticky" tape
- On
request, electricity
plugs for connecting your PC for presentation of animations and
demonstrations
of code performance will be available.
It
is recommended that you provide handouts with the complete paper, as
the proceedings with the full papers will be distributed later.
You may wish to have also a supply of business cards available,
and
other information of your choice.
Make sure that in the afternoon around 18:30 your poster is removed
including all your materials from the display board and table.
Please read the “Tips for
Poster
Presentations” for guidance to ensure quality of presentation and
for
facilitating communication.
